Skirmish in the Valley

The Skirmish in the Valley is a nationally recognized Civil War reenactment event that takes place in Jacksonville, Alabama. It is held annually on the first full weekend of May. The reenactment features hundreds of participants who dress as Union and Confederate soldiers, complete with authentic military uniform. In addition to the reenactment, the event also features activities such as a ladies tea, a grand ball, and a period church service
